The short version

ByaheCalc gives you fee estimates based on the official LTO, BIR, and DOF documents we cite. The numbers are best-effort and may differ from what you actually pay at LTO. Use the calculators as a starting point, not as legal, tax, or financial advice. If you find an error, tell us.

Acceptance of these terms

By using byahecalc.com (the “Site”) you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

What ByaheCalc is — and is not

ByaheCalc is a set of calculators that estimate Philippine transportation fees (LTO registration, late penalties, plate renewal schedule, transfer of ownership, driver's license renewal). Each calculator's “How this is computed” section links to the primary source documents (LTO Memorandum Circulars, DOF Department Orders, BIR regulations) the math is based on.

The calculators are estimates. Actual amounts charged at LTO offices, PNP-HPG branches, accredited insurance companies, and third-party Private Emission Testing Centers may differ from our output. Government fee schedules can change. Individual offices may apply discretion. Calculator output is not a quotation, invoice, or commitment to any specific peso amount.

ByaheCalc does not provide legal, tax, or financial advice. Nothing on the Site is a substitute for consulting LTO directly or engaging a Philippine attorney, accountant, or licensed financial adviser for your specific situation.

No warranty

The Site and all calculator output are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranty of any kind, express or implied — including but not limited to warranties of accuracy, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We make our best effort to keep rates current and to verify them against primary sources, but we make no representation or guarantee that the figures are correct, complete, or up to date for your specific transaction at LTO.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Philippine law, ByaheCalc and its operators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary damages arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Site, including but not limited to: amounts you paid at LTO that differ from the calculator's estimate; decisions made in reliance on calculator output; lost time; or any third-party services linked from the Site.

If any of the above limitations are unenforceable in your jurisdiction, our aggregate liability to you shall not exceed one hundred Philippine pesos (₱100).

Acceptable use

You may use the Site for personal and commercial purposes (looking up your own fees, helping a friend, comparing options for a vehicle purchase). You may not:

• Scrape the Site at high frequency or attempt to overload it. The calculators are stateless — running them locally with our published math (linked from each calculator) is more efficient anyway.
• Reproduce calculator output as your own without attribution to ByaheCalc and the cited primary sources.
• Misrepresent calculator output as official LTO, BIR, DOF, PNP, or insurance-company quotations.
• Use the Site for any unlawful purpose or in violation of Philippine law.

Intellectual property

The ByaheCalc brand, design, copy, calculator implementations, and the curated rate-table data on this Site are protected by copyright. The underlying public-domain primary sources we cite (LTO Citizen's Charter, BIR DST schedules, RA texts) belong to the Philippine government and are not our property. You may quote calculator output and link to the Site freely; please credit ByaheCalc when you do.

Links to external sites

Each calculator links to primary-source documents on lto.gov.ph, bir.gov.ph, and similar official sites. We do not control those sites and we are not responsible for their content, availability, or accuracy. Following an external link is at your own discretion.

Advertising

We may display ads from Google AdSense and similar networks. Ads are served by third parties; we do not control their content. Clicking on an ad takes you to a third-party site governed by its own terms and privacy practices. We are not responsible for products, services, or statements made in advertisements.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms as the Site evolves. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent change. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any dispute arising from your use of the Site shall be resolved in the appropriate courts of the National Capital Region, Metro Manila.
